First I'd like to say prior to going here I read the reviews and saw a few had said if ur white don't go here. Well I'm white and so are my 2 co-workers and none of us felt like we were treated differently. Next I'd like to say the food was delicious. Very flavorful and filling. The bulgogi was juicy and tasty, the sweet and sour chicken was coated in the sauce like I like it, however some pieces of the chicken seemed a bit over done but it was still good. The side dishes were great. Ended up eating 2 helpings of them. Kimchi was outstanding. Definitely recommend and will return if I'm in the area again.

My husband and I came here earlier this evening to try a new food experience and we were not disappointed. The food was yummy and staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back so we can try different menu items. 🙂

Authentic and fabulous food! My favorite Asian restaurant. Small and quiet and everyone is so kind and friendly.

The best place to get real Korean food! It's a delicious adventure and a cozy place.

Food is decently tasty. Not super authentic Korean food, but reasonable. Wish portions were a bit bigger given the prices

I love the food here. The hot stone Bibimbap is a must try especially with the sauce that they bring with it. I've had a couple of the flavors of fried chicken and they have all been tasty.

Terrific, authentic Korean food. I usually get the bibimbap, which comes served in a stone bowl that is so hot, the rice continues to cook and forms a crispy layer (man, is it good). I’ve had other items as well and have never been disappointed. You won’t be, either.

This is how fried chicken should have always been but never was in my life.

Mediocre flavours and skimpy on the meat portions. Loud k-poop on the system. But the kid loves the orange chicken - said it was the best he’s ever had.

It was a cold October day. My family was visiting from a land with a dearth of true Asian food, and it was beginning to show upon our countenances. Where I once would walk about campus with a can of soy milk and an onigiri, I found myself holding a coke and Big Mac instead. The situation was becoming dire. When we came upon Mr. Wok, it was sweet ambrosia to a starved soul. The beef bugolgi was succulent and flavorful. The seafood tofu soup was to die for. The chicken teriyaki brought tears of joy to my eyes. My in laws, who were unfamiliar to the joys of Asian food, were delighted to find that the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff even offered me napkins to wipe away my tears of joy. My husband suggested that the napkins may be for wiping food off our mouths, but I kindly disagree. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant. *When they say spicy, they mean spicy. If you are faint of heart I would recommend requesting the dish without added spice.

Wow! This place is amazing ... to my surprise. It doesn't seem like much when you pull up, but Mr. Wok's has the best fried chicken I've possibly ever had.

Don't be fooled by the name this is not cheap Chinese. it is yummy Home Style Korean food. Try it, love it, go back often. As for my story, I was driving and had to get some gas. I saw the sign for the restaurant next door, and basically ignored it. But it was late and I was very hungry, and having just moved here from the Bay Area wondered if there was any good Asian food here. To my pleasant surprise I found fabulous Korean, which was not expected. A definite treasure here in Boise. Another treasure here in the treasure valley!

Great little restaurant, authentic Korean dining. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the service for lunch was lightning fast. They also do a ton of take out business as well. I highly recommend giving Mr. Wok a try, we will be going back frequently.

Our family tried Mr. Wok for the first time today. All I've got to say is YUM!!! I paid a little extra for them to make my meal more spicy. The chef came out of the kitchen to make sure it was perfect. Great service!!!

Absolute best place in Boise to find some authentic Korean dishes. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the environment is very relaxing. With affordable choices and delicious ingredients, this place is a must try.

Ok Korean food but they substitute some things that you wouldn't notice unless you'd eaten a lot of Korean food. I hear a lot of good reports about it but haven't been back again.

So sweet and accommodating 💕 Will definitely come back!

They have recently changed ownership because of the fried chicken. Not sure why they changed the whole décor and furniture there I prefer the original ambiance. Food is still great. Love the soft tofu soup. When we went in they were out of the crispy chicken but will soon give them a try hopefully they have some available.

The owner is a wonderful man who came out and showed me the proper way to eat bulgogi. My wife and I have been there several times. Every time is fantastic. The device is quick and friendly. I had the fried chicken on the last trip there. It was by far the best friend chicken I have ever eaten. And I lived in Texas for a while so I know good fried chicken. I highly recommend.

I love this place! It's comfort food for me, reminding me of my old korean roommate. The food is delicious and filling and all for a great price!

Fantastic bibimbap. I've had it all over Boise and can confirm this place has the best. If you're in the mood for some, be sure to come here!

The facade of the restaurant is not very nice but don't let that deceive you...go right in because the food and the service is really GREAT. We ordered the bibimbap in a stone bowl. Our server recommended we get the one in a stone bowl as it keeps the rice crispy, cooks the egg, and keeps your food hot. The chef (or maybe he's the owner) even came out and checked on us and other customers.

Authentic korean food since the new owners took over. I got the dolsot bibimbap and it was great! I will continue to come here if it stays like it is now.
